Winning campaigns begin with a winning strategy.

Decide Campaigns creates campaign strategies designed to reflect the unique elements of your campaign. Each campaign begins with the elements that make your election distinct. 

There are no cookie cutter solutions.  

The first step is to consider the eternal factors that will impact the campaign. How the population is feeling in general, other political factors such as national or provincial politics that could have impact, any third parties involved in the election and other elements that are external to the campaign.

Second, Decide Campaigns evaluates the internal strengths and weaknesses of the campaign. A campaign team is developed with multiple levels but primarily focused on money, logistics and communications.

Then Decide Campaigns breaks the campaign period into various phases. Each phase is developed with a series of tasks and activities that must be accomplished as well as benchmarks to determine the overall success of the campaign. By reaching those benchmarks, the campaign is assured to be on the correct path. Failure requires adjustment.

And finally, each strategy must be accompanied by a budget. Campaigns are functions of money. The best idea or the best candidate does not ensure victory without a proper budget.

Brands are short hand that tells us when a product is good, cheap, inferior or superior. When you approach the purchase of a product, you do not evaluate all the attributes, instead you look at the package, rely on the word of your friends or family, or purchase based on your desired personal brand image (why else would anyone buy a Tesla Cyber Truck?)

Data

Data drives decisions.

But data can be bad, good or great. The quality of your data determines the quality of your outcome. Decide Campaigns uses a variety of data collection techniques, including IVR (interactive voice recording), online panels, telephone surveys, and ad to survey. Each of these techniques has strengths and weaknesses. Experience has led Decide Campaigns to give each appropriate weight in the development of a data driven model.

Our initial hypothesis is created through comprehensive data evaluation. The hypothesis is then revised and tested again. And again. We continually test our communication tactics through the creation of a real time feedback loop that includes variables such as campaign voice and tone, messaging and targeting.

Digital Advertising

There is a lot of jargon related to digital advertising. We can use it if you wish, but in the end, we’d rather simply succeed.

Digital advertising allows small scale tests to develop a better understanding of how the science of decision making is reacting with the real-world application of communications.

Often forgotten in today’s communications landscape, direct communications are a valuable tool for creating successful campaigns.

Decide Campaigns uses direct mail, live calling, interactive voice recording and door to door canvassing to identify and shift our audience. Sometimes the best tactic is talking directly to a voter.
